I hope you had a nice Whitsunday! We went to visit my parents and had a wonderful long weekend.

The weather was very mixed, but we had some nice moments and I could take this fantastic picture below:

Recipe of the Month

Trying to live and eat healthier and all that stuff I had just bought 20 kg (about 45 pounds) of apples about two weeks earlier. And now I have hundreds of little apples in my garage waiting to be eaten.

Therefore the recipe of the month is with apples :-)

Dutch Apple Crepes with Cinnamon Crumb Topping

If you thought, cinnamon is only for Christmas, think again! Topped with walnut pieces and vanilla ice cream, there's not much left to wish for.

And this Dessert Crepe Recipe with Apples and Cointreau is even better!

It's such a delight that you have to be really careful not to overeat ;-) If you're concerned about the alcohol, especially if you have kids eating with you, you can replace the Cointreau with essence or flavor.
