The Crepe Vine, Issue #032--Great Halloween Recipes
October 02, 2013

Oktober 2, 2013

Everyone around here seems to be preparing Halloween costumes, decorations and gathering recipes for Halloween parties.

If you celebrate this as well, I have some great appetizer crepes for you that will make an impression at any party.

And some pumpkin crepes your family will love - not only for Halloween. Below you also find a recommendation of yard decorations you can do with your kids.

Recipe of the Month

Pumpkins make great decorations for Halloween and the fall harvest but did you know that they can make tasty desserts as well?

The great thing is you can even double purpose your pumpkin as decoration and dessert. Just be careful to leave the shell intact when carving out the flesh. (This doesn't work with all pumpkins though)

Easy Pumpkin Crepe
A wonderful addition to your fall meal plan. Get creative with the filling and try out the ones we suggest plus other ones you think might be a good fit.

Ok, now for the appetizer. Want something hearty and scary? Your guests will love the Cocktail Wieners that look like spooky goblin toes!

Stuffed Pumpkin
Have you ever thought of stuffing your pumpkins? This is an extraordinary recipe with apples, strawberries and walnuts. Yummy and healthy!

Scary Glowing Jars

What would Halloween be without scary faces?

If you like doing crafts (alone or with your kids) I have found a really easy decoration you can do with household items, almost anyone has at home.

The glowing jars can be put on the window sill or outdoors on the porch (but make sure they don't get wet).
