somehow the dark and cold season just makes me eat more desserts than during summer.

And what better than a warm crepe with a great sweet filling together with a hot cup of coffee or chocolate?

Irish Coffee?

The Irishmen sure know how to make well-tasting coffees. If it wasn't for the alcohol, I'd drink nothing but Irish coffee (well, and the calories).

Anyhow, the crepe is even better than the coffee. Or you could have both!

And if you don't want alcohol you can replace the whiskey with aroma. In the baking department of you supermarket you'll find lots of baking aromas, including whiskey and rum.

Irish Coffee Pie Crepe

This crepe is best used on its own. You could invite guests over for coffee and I guarantee, they'll be blown away.

Bananas are a classic for crepes. The first crepe I had in my live was banana and nutella. Yummy!

But there's so much more you can do with bananas, such as the Banana Foster Crepe with vanilla icecream, brown sugar and cinnamon.
