Easy Homemade Chocolate Sauce Recipe for Crepes

Making chocolate sauce at home is as easy as opening a jar!

This recipe for chocolate sauce features dark chocolate, cinnamon and coffee, the perfect flavor trilogy.

Garnish with pumpkin seeds for a little crunch and you've got an elegant dessert recipe.

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp of unsalted butter
  • ½ cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of coffee or coffee liqueur
  • 1 cup of pumpkin seeds
  • chocolate crepes

Fill the bottom of a double-boiler with water. Bring to a boil. Place dark chocolate chips and butter in top bowl. Stir frequently. When mixture is melted, stir in heavy cream with wire whisk. Add cinnamon and coffee or liqueur. Blend with whip.

Serve over chocolate crepes you've made ahead. Top each serving with pumpkin seeds and serve immediately.
