If you enjoy the sausage and cream gravy recipe over biscuits, you'll love this easy gravy recipe.
Once you try it over warm crepes, you'll never miss the biscuits!
Brown sausage and onion in large skillet over medium heat. Stirring, break up large chunks of meat and cook until no longer pink.
Add flour, one tablespoon at a time, stirring until it is completely absorbed. After you have added all the flour, add milk and stir with whisk until thoroughly combined. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Assemble crepes: Lay first crepe flat. Ladle ⅓ cup of sausage and gravy over crepe. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley, if desired, and roll in half. Fold again into a triangle. Repeat with remaining crepes and serve immediately.
Yield: 6 servings (1 crepe each)
