How to Make Turkey Gravy

Whether you want to serve your turkey by itself or whether you'd like to make our roasted turkey crepes, read along and learn how to make turkey gravy. With its rich amber color and roasted flavor, you might even be tempted to eat it by itself.


  • ½ cup of pan drippings from our turkey breasts recipes
  • 2 cans of turkey or chicken broth
  • ½ cup of dry white wine
  • 2&189; tbsp of flour
  • 3 tbsp of water
  • ½ tsp of salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp of freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp of poultry seasonings

Add chicken broth to medium skillet on medium high heat. Skim fat from turkey drippings and stir into broth. Whisk together. Add wine and bring to a simmer. Let simmer for about 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix flour with water until mixture is smooth. Pour slowly into skillet and stir together. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Add salt, pepper and poultry seasonings and let simmer 3-4 minutes, whisking occasionally, until gravy has thickened.

Yield: 2½ cups of gravy
