Crepe Batter Recipe - Easy Spinach Recipes
For a healthier alternative, try this flavorful crepe batter recipe for spinach crepes. The bright green color and savory taste is the perfect container for your favorite crepe filling recipes.
It's one of our favorite easy spinach recipes for crepes. They're also delicious with any of our chicken crepe recipes or ham recipes. We especially recommend topping them with our easy mushroom sauce. But they're also delicious fresh off the pan with a little sour cream.
Ingredients: - ½ cup of frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbsp of canola oil
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups of milk
- pinch of kosher salt
Whirl spinach, eggs and oil together in blender. Add flour and salt and combine. Next, pour in milk and whirl until completely absorbed, scraping sides as necessary. Note: Refrigerate batter for at least 30 minutes. Yield: 12 spinach crepes
Recommendation: Try filling your spinach crepes with mushrooms, bacon and caramelized onions.
