Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 1 shallot, chopped
- ¼ cup of light brown sugar
- ½ tsp of salt
- 3 pears, peeled and coarsely chopped
- ½ tsp of fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
Melt butter in medium skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar, salt and shallot and cook for 5 minutes or until sugar is absorbed and shallot is tender. Add pears and next 3 ingredients. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes or until pears pierce easily with a fork but are not mushy. Yield: About 2 cups Want more crepe recipes?
