The by-product from this process—cocoa butter—is the primary ingredient of white chocolate. It also includes sugar and milk. Try this white chocolate sauce recipe as a topping for your crepe recipes. It also works well as a fondue.
Ingredients: - 2 white chocolate baking or candy bars, 4 oz. each
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon of orange liqueur (optional)
Directions for Melting White Chocolate: Fill the bottom of a double-boiler with water. Bring to a boil. Break up chocolate bars and place in top bowl. Add cream and stir together until melted. Stir in liqueur.
