If you enjoy pecans and caramel, you'll love our this easy sauce recipe. This silky sauce is a perfect topping for your sweet crepes. It's also delicious over grilled banana crepes, fresh peach recipes for crepes or our sweet potato crepes.
Ingredients: - 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup of half-and-half
- 4 tbsp of unsalted butter butter
- ½ cup of pecan pieces, toasted
- ¼ tsp of salt
- ½ tsp of vanilla extract
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, salt and butter. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and gradually stir in half and half.
