Raspberry Sauce Recipe

This tangy raspberry sauce recipe is the perfect finish for dessert as well as a number of savory crepes. See suggested sites below. For an especially dramatic effect, try creating a diagonal or circular shape across the crepes.

1 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries
2 tablespoons of orange juice
¼ cup seedless raspberry jam
2 tablespoons sugar

Puree the raspberries and 2 tablespoons orange juice in a blender. Strain to remove seeds. Pour mixture into a small saucepan and add ½ cup seedless raspberry preserves and 2 tablespoons sugar. Heat just until mixture comes to a boil and then simmer 2-3 minutes.

You may drizzle this sauce with a spoon or pour it into a squirtable plastic bottle, such as the one that holds artificial sweeteners. Simply rinse it out and recycle it!
