Everybody loves easy chicken recipes for the crock pot. This recipe will bring notes of Asia into your house with its mixture of vegetables and chicken coated in a sweet and savory sauce. We promise you'll savor every bite!
Ingredients: - 2½ pounds of boneless chicken tenders (about 14-16 pieces)
- 2 bags of frozen stiry-fry vegetables (mushrooms, water chestnuts, broccoli, carrots and red pepper strips)
- 1 bottle of sesame-garlic stir-fry sauce
- ½ cup of water
- ½ tbsp of brown sugar
- ¼ tsp of cayenne pepper
- ¼ cup of green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp of toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 8 savory crepes
Mix stir-fry sauce, brown sugar, cayenne pepper and water together in a small bowl. Place vegetables in the bottom of a slow cooker. Top with chicken pieces. Cover chicken and vegetables with stir-fry sauce-water mix. Cook for 3-4 hours on high heat or 6-8 on the lowest setting. Assemble crepes: Lay first crepe on a flat serving dish and fill with desired amount of chicken-vegetable mixture. Pour 1 tbsp of reserved sauce over chicken and roll up. Top with a sprinkling of sesame seeds and green onions, if desired. Repeat with remaining crepes and serve immediately. Yield: 8 servings (1 crepe roll each) Want more crepe recipes?
